MISSION STATEMENT

Shark Allies is a non-profit organization with headquarters in Hawaii. Its main purpose is to save the sharks and help the oceans!

A grand and sweeping statement, indeed.

To be more specific:

An organization where experts, researchers, educators, activists, volunteers and all people that care can come together to combine efforts, find funding, and discuss and implement ideas to improve the current state of shark conservation and all related issues.

The main goals are to encourage and support conservation and all related issues.

Shark and ocean education; to support existing and implement future shark research and programs, to make available information and educational material, to work towards improving the negative image of sharks and to raise the awareness about the ocean environment in general.
